Welcome to Brittany and to Pont-Aven. We look forward to greeting you at our Bed & Breakfast “Roc An Eol” in this region of beautiful countryside and gentle river estuaries.

Surrounded by beech and oak trees full of birdsong, and with a garden of granite rock and flowering shrubs, of light and shade, “Roc An Eol” is a haven, here to allow you peace and space away from the pressures of everyday life. We’re located on the south-east edge of the town bordering the countryside, yet only just a short walk down to the river and port of Pont-Aven. A ten minute walk from here will take you into the centre of this lively little town, so you have all the advantages of being close to the shops, restaurants and galleries but without being right in the midst of all the hustle and bustle.

 

The sitting/dining room is for your use at all times of the day along with facilities for making drinks. It is a light and airy room with French windows overlooking the back garden and the gladed area at the side of the house. Breakfast is served here, and you are welcome to remain in the room and relax on the sofas with your morning newspaper. In the evening as this room faces the south-west, you can sit and watch the sun set (weather permitting!). The television is here in the room for you, as well as an open fireplace, which is lit when the temperatures go wintery.

Breakfast
A Continental-style breakfast with freshly brewed coffee, leaf tea or herbal teas is offered from 08h30 to 10h00 each morning. Fresh and dried fruit, yogurt, cereals, and a good selection of breads and pastries are available, and as much local produce is used as possible: Brittany butter, the special “Pont-Aven” bread made with cider (available in summer), and the jams and marmalade are made by a local “traiteur” (delicatessen) according to his own recipes.
If you have any particular dietary requests, such as needing a gluten-free or dairy-free breakfast then please let us know and we’ll do our best to provide you with a tasty alternative!

No-smoking policy
We kindly ask smokers to refrain from smoking in the bedrooms and in the sitting/dining room. You are welcome to smoke on the terrace and in the garden.

Parking places are available directly in front of “Roc An Eol”.
